The post arrived perfect and ready to stain then install
Hey Brad,
We're glad to hear that this newel post was the perfect addition to your project. The end result looks absolutely awesome and we're happy to see how it turned out!

I had old posts that I was able to cut down and slide the new ones over. It was a perfect fit, more solid and saved a bunch of time.

The box newels that I ordered came very well packaged and I was extremely pleased with the construction and quality of the posts. The only issue I had was one of the corners on one of the newel caps was dented or had a small chunk missing. I debated on whether to return it, but opted to sand it out and conceal it the best I could during my installation. It took my wife a couple of days after install to notice so I don't think most people will see it. All and all, I was very pleased.
