The 4491 Box Newel is adjustable allowing you to customize the height for your stairway. The inner sleeve slides within the outer apron for an easier installation. This box newel is the perfect choice for those who want a quality box newel, but are more limited in space. The 4491 Adjustable Box Newel is available in both the contractor grade and Amish crafted varieties. The contractor grade is available in red oak, and the Amish crafted box newel is available in red oak, white oak, hickory, maple, brazilian cherry, american cherry and other wood types by request.

This Box Newel is a very popular choice because of its great looks and slim profile. Why not give your home the look of a box newel post without the extra size required by the 6 1/4" box newels.
