	The 4991 Mission Style Box Newel or Recessed Panel Box Newel features a flat top and 4 generously recessed panels as its name suggests. This style is often used in the Mission Style houses which are so popular in the West and Midwest. The Amish-crafted Mission Style Box Newel features a flat top but is available with a pointy top upon request. The Amish version is available in most available wood types and features a beautifully crafted and exquisitely sanded box newel will make your staircase a hit with your friends and family. If you need a wood type that is not listed, please call us. We will attempt to accommodate your decorating needs. The contractor’s select grade 4991 Mission or Recessed Panel Box newel is shipped with both the pointy and flat tops to fit your personal design taste. It represents an extreme value giving you a box newel that is well built and beautiful at a much lower cost. Don’t be fooled by the cost. Our Contractor’s select grade is an incredible value, and is available in Red Oak.
