	Brazilian Cherry handrail has become a popular choice for handrail here at Beautiful Homes.  The beauty of Brazilian Cherry can be described as having the warmth in color of a deep red cherry and a graining that resembles many mahoganies.  Brazilian Cherry handrail is a great choice for stair parts because of its extreme hardness.  It is one of the hardest commercially available woods.  Brazilian Cherry is a very dense wood and therefore very heavy.  It is often clear coated.  If you choose to use Brazilian Cherry for your stair parts, we recommend using a stain or clear coat with a UV inhibitor.  Brazilian Cherry will darken very quickly when exposed to sunlight.  It is highly recommended that you keep Brazilian Cherry covered until you are ready to install it.  Following installation, it should be clear coated or stained immediately.  If you have any questions about working with this beautiful wood, please give us a call.  We are here to help.
